Botanical Arches, Reimagined

Floral arches remain a mandap and entrance staple, but 2026 favors looser, more textural arrangements — trailing greenery mixed with dried grasses and muted florals instead of tightly packed blooms. We're also seeing couples ask for arches that can be repurposed across two or three events in the same wedding week, so the structure is built to be re-dressed rather than rebuilt each time.

Warm Minimalism

Clean lines, warm neutral palettes and fewer — but more intentional — statement pieces are replacing maximalist décor for couples who want their venue to feel curated rather than crowded. Texture does the heavy lifting here: raw silk runners, terracotta accents and unlacquered brass instead of high-shine finishes.

Layered Lighting

Instead of one dominant light source, we're layering warm string lights, lanterns and uplighting to create depth across the venue through the evening. The goal is a room that looks different at 7pm than it does at 11pm, without anyone touching a single switch.

Regional Textiles as Décor

Bandhani, Ajrakh and other Gujarati textile traditions are showing up as table runners, backdrop panels and seating accents — a way to bring local craft into modern styling. It's also become a favorite request from couples marrying outside Gujarat who want a visible thread back to home in the décor itself.

Micro-Moments Over Mega Displays

Rather than one enormous photo backdrop, couples are asking for several smaller styled corners — a welcome drink counter, a guest book nook — each designed as its own little moment. They spread guests out naturally across the venue and give photographers far more to work with than a single step-and-repeat wall.
